Compare travel services in one place

Destination.chat is an independent travel comparison site. Instead of opening ten tabs, you pick the service you need - a hotel, a flight, a rental car, an airport transfer, a ferry, a tour, travel insurance, an eSIM or a VPN - and see trusted providers side by side, so you can check prices and terms before you book.

We don't sell trips and we don't take payments. When you choose an offer, you book directly with the provider - Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, GetYourGuide, Airalo, NordVPN and others - on their own website, at their normal price. Some links are affiliate links, so we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Planning in the right order saves money: book flights and accommodation first, add the airport transfer and the rental car once your arrival time is fixed, and sort out travel insurance and an eSIM before you leave. Popular tours and high-season ferry routes sell out, so reserve those early too.

Travel Essentials FAQ

Is Destination.chat free to use?

Yes. Comparing is free and needs no sign-up. You only pay the provider you book with, at their normal price.

Do I book on Destination.chat or with the provider?

With the provider. We show trusted options side by side; the booking, the payment and any changes or refunds are handled by the company you book with.

Why can the price change after I click through?

Because prices are live. Hotel, flight and car rental prices move with demand and availability. The price that counts is the one on the provider's checkout page, with taxes and fees included.

Do I need travel insurance for a trip in Europe?

It is not always mandatory, but it is worth it. It covers what a European Health Insurance Card or your home policy does not, such as cancellations, lost baggage, delays and medical repatriation. If you need a Schengen visa, travel medical insurance with at least €30,000 of cover is required.

Is an eSIM better than roaming?

Usually, outside your home zone. An eSIM gives you a local data plan at a fixed price and is installed before you travel. Inside the EU, EU residents can use their own plan under the roam-like-at-home rules, so check your tariff first.

Do I need a VPN when I travel?

It helps on public Wi-Fi. A VPN encrypts your connection in hotels, airports and cafés, and lets you reach your usual services from abroad. A few countries restrict VPN use, so check the local rules.

When should I book an airport transfer?

As soon as your flight is confirmed. A pre-booked transfer has a fixed price, and the driver meets you at arrivals. Most services follow your flight, so a delay does not cost you the ride.
